WhatsApp helps older people overcome depression

Benetita, a jubilant third-year professor, shared that she may be suffering from depression after hearing the messages sent via WhatsApp, which are part of a study to reduce illness symptoms in older adults using digital messages.

“I felt deceived by my graduates and colleagues, and felt deceived by my peers,” account to SciDev.Net. The symptoms appear after the publication anniversary.

“When I start receiving the messages, I know that I have helped many people and taught my students many good things. This has helped me to get rid of the negative feelings,” the comment reads.
