Fujifilm wird auf dem European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2024 eine bahnbrechende neue Mammographie-Technologie, AMULET SOPHINITY™, vorstellen. Diese Technologie, die in Zusammenarbeit mit führenden Klinikern entwickelt wurde, ziele darauf ab, sowohl die Genauigkeit als auch die Einfachheit der Diagnose deutlich zu verbessern und den Patientenkomfort zu erhöhen, ohne dabei Kompromisse bei der Bildqualität einzugehen. AMULET SOPHINITY™ ist ein digitales Mammographiesystem, das eine niedrige Dosis, hohe Bildqualität und einen verbesserten Arbeitsablauf mit KI-Technologie bietet. Das „AMULET SOPHINITY™“-System ist mit einem FPD mit Direktkonvertierung ausgestattet, der ein TFT-Panel mit „Hexagonal Close Pattern (HCP)“-Struktur*1 verwendet. Biomarker predicts sudden cardiac death in men

The discovery of a biomarker readily measured in blood could be a significant step towards preventing sudden deaths. Plasma 4?-hydroxycholesterol (4?HC) measurement could offer a possibility to predict and prevent sudden cardiac deaths in men with coronary artery disease, according to a study by the University of Oulu, Finland. The study found that high levels of 4?HC were associated with total mortality, cardiac mortality and especially sudden cardiac death in men. The significance of 4?HC levels has not been previously studied in patients with coronary artery disease.
