Analysis: Abuse of Power, Corruption, and Coercion Allegations Against Donald Trump

Washington — Allegations of abuse of power, corruption, and coercion against Donald Trump must be strictly separated into three categories: facts confirmed by final court judgments, charges that were dismissed or dropped, and claims that exist only in political documents or public statements. Based on verifiable judicial records and official documents, the findings are as follows: Corruption and Fraud Confirmed by Courts In February 2024, a New York state court found that Trump and his company had unlawfully inflated asset values to obtain favorable loan and insurance terms, and ordered him to pay $464 million including interest . In August 2025, the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court upheld the fraud liability finding but ruled the fine amount „excessive“ and in violation of the Eighth Amendment, and vacated it . New York Attorney General Letitia James stated she…

November im „Journal of Psychopharmacology“ veröffentlichten Studie (DOI: 10.1177/02698811261495546).

Fabrication and Falsification in Medicine and Laboratory Medicine: A Background Report on Intentional Misconduct

Conclusion First: Intentional data fabrication and publication falsification in medicine and laboratory medicine are not isolated incidents but rather documented systemic vulnerabilities. The most thoroughly documented cases involve not only individual fabricators but also the failure of institutional oversight, editorial processes, and peer review. The case of Prof. Axel M. Gressner and his son Olav Gressner at RWTH Aachen University illustrates a particularly instructive form of falsification: manipulation occurring at the galley proof stage, after peer review but before final publication. Other landmark cases—Joachim Boldt in anesthesiology and Yoshitaka Fujii in anesthesia—demonstrate industrial-scale fabrication, with retraction counts reaching into the hundreds. The Gressner Case: Falsification at the Proof Stage The Gressner case is notable not for its scale but for its mechanism. Axel M. Gressner was a senior professor at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Pathobiochemistry at RWTH University…

FDA grants accelerated approval to RYBREVANT FASPRO for certain head and neck cancer

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted accelerated approval to Johnson & Johnson’s RYBREVANT FASPRO (amivantamab and hyaluronidase) as a single agent for adults with recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) whose disease has progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy and an anti-PD-(L)1 antibody. The company announced the approval. The indication does not include patients with HPV-associated oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. It is the first approval of a dual-targeted therapy in this setting, simultaneously targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and mesenchymal-epithelial transition (MET). The approval follows a Breakthrough Therapy Designation in February 2026 and a Priority Review designation in July 2026. It is based on clinically meaningful and durable tumour responses in the Phase 1b/2 OrigAMI-4 trial. Confirmed overall response rate was 42 percent (95 percent confidence interval 32 to 52 percent), including…

Tech-Access Canada welcomes proposals to expand research funding

Tech-Access Canada, the national network of Canada’s 70 Technology Access Centres (TACs), has welcomed Budget 2026 proposals to expand the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentive and renew federal clean technology support. TACs already help Canadian companies test new technologies, validate products and prepare for production. The proposed Canadian Innovation Pipeline Initiative would give more businesses year-round access to the teams and facilities already doing that work. TACs provide contract research services to businesses. Under existing Canada Revenue Agency rules, businesses can claim eligible costs for qualifying SR&ED work that TACs perform under contract on their behalf. The proposed expansion, estimated at $930 million over five years, would extend eligibility to certain commercialisation expenses, including testing and validation required for initial regulatory approval or certification when directly linked to an eligible SR&ED project. „A tax credit can help…

Study Guide Germany offered young people worldwide individual support in choosing a course and preparing for their studies. DAAD President…

Laser-plasma accelerators could open access to water-window X-rays

Laser-plasma-based particle accelerators could provide easier access to X-rays in the so-called water window, according to model simulations by a European research team. Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU) reported the findings. Radiation with wavelengths of about 2.3 and 4.4 nanometres is particularly suited to studying biological samples in their natural, aqueous environment, but has so far been technically difficult to obtain in sufficient quality and intensity. The study was published in „Nature Communications“ (DOI: 10.1038/s41467-026-78880-4). Biological systems consist largely of water, while biological molecules contain elements such as carbon and nitrogen. To image such molecules at high resolution, radiation is useful that is transparent to water but strongly absorbed by other atoms – exactly the case for soft X-rays in the water window. Bernhard Hidding, head of the Strong-Field Laser-Plasma Physics group at HHU and corresponding author of the study,…
